Vice President for Construction
Provides construction management for Skilken and has been responsible for the successful completion of over one hundred projects. His responsibilities include: coordination for all of Skilken's construction interests; working with the leasing and the real estate departments to provide project budgets, coordination of tenant's work and the completion of owner's work; provision of in-house architectural services; coordination of the mechanical, electrical and structural disciplines to create construction documents; preparation of construction contracts, schedules and payment applications; and supervision for all of Skilken's construction projects.
Tom is a registered architect with a diverse background in both commercial\retail and residential design and construction. He received a Bachelor of Science degree, in Architecture, from the Ohio State University in 1987, became a registered architect in the state of Ohio in 1993 and has been a member of the American Institute of Architects since 1994. He has eighteen years of professional experience, with architectural and general contracting firms, including ten plus years with Skilken in project development.
