Development Planner
Seth Dorman joined Skilken in 2007 as an entitlement specialist for the company’s various development projects. Seth draws on his 10 years of experience in the public sector where he has held several planning positions at both regional and local levels. Just prior to joining Skilken, Seth was the City Planner for the City of Grove City, a southwestern suburb of Columbus, Ohio.
Seth is responsible for securing entitlements for Skilken’s development projects, which entails zoning approvals for site plans, building design and signage. Seth works closely with Skilken’s partners, including The Kroger Co., CVS and Speedway SuperAmerica on projects ranging from shopping centers to car washes. He utilizes his knowledge and understanding of local zoning codes, and planning committees to move projects from the planning phase of development to the construction phase.
